We're not here to profit off loneliness.
UBeLong was built by someone who's been exactly where you are — not by a corporation chasing a valuation. Here's the honest deal: we cover our costs, pay the founder a fair but capped salary, and send everything else to the causes that actually help our community.
The most Logan will ever take from UBeLong in a year — never more. Everything above running costs and that cap goes back to the community.
You choose the cause. We send the money.
When you join, you can pick a cause you want part of your membership to support. We send $1 every month — or $8 every year — to the nonprofit you choose. It's your membership doing double duty: building your community and funding the people who serve it.
$1 / month, or $8 / year
For every member who picks a cause, UBeLong sends $1 monthly or $8 annually to that nonprofit. You pay nothing extra — it comes out of your membership.
You pick who receives it
Choose from the LGBTQ+ nonprofits and services in our Mutual Aid & Resources directory — or direct it to the Million Hearts March.
We show you the totals
We publish how much has gone to each cause. No black box, no vague "a portion of proceeds." Real numbers, in the open.
No profit squeeze, ever
No tiers, no pay-to-talk, no selling your data. Your membership covers the site and the mission — nothing else.
Million Hearts March
Million Hearts March is Logan's nonprofit — a movement to bring people together around mental health, suicide prevention, and the simple truth that no one should have to march through life alone. It's the heart behind UBeLong, and it's where the surplus from this platform is meant to go.
The Million Hearts March site is being rebuilt right now, and the nonprofit is being registered as a 501(c)(3). Once that's done, members will be able to direct their $1/month or $8/year to Million Hearts March directly — and every dollar will be tax-deductible and publicly accounted for.
What Million Hearts March stands for
- Mental health & suicide prevention — resources, awareness, and real support for people in crisis.
- Community over isolation — the belief that connection is prevention.
- LGBTQ+ affirming — built by and for a community that too often faces these struggles alone.
- Transparent & nonprofit — 501(c)(3) registration in progress; every dollar accounted for.
Where every dollar goes.
- 1. Running costs first. Hosting, verification, payment processing, and the tools that keep the site safe and online.
- 2. A fair, capped salary. Logan takes no more than $75,000/year — ever. Not a cent more, no matter how big UBeLong grows.
- 3. Member-directed giving. $1/month or $8/year per member goes to the nonprofit they choose.
- 4. Everything else goes back. Any remaining surplus goes to the Million Hearts March and other LGBTQ+ nonprofits. Not to investors, not to a yacht.
Join a community that gives back.
Your first month is free when you join by 11/30 — then just $3/month or $30/year. And part of it goes to a cause you believe in.
