We never sell your data. Ever.

No data brokers, no ad networks, no "partners" buying your profile. Your information is not for sale, full stop. We make money from memberships, not from you.

We collect the minimum we need to keep you safe.

Enough to verify you're a real adult human, run your profile, take your payment, and keep the community safe. Nothing more.

You can delete everything, any time.

Email us and we wipe your account and personal data. No dark patterns, no "are you sure?" maze.

Account & profile information

What: your email address, display name, age/date of birth, pronouns, photos, and the profile details you choose to share (interests, what you're looking for, community prompts).

Why: to create your account, show your profile to other members, and confirm you're 18 or older.

Verification information

What: a live video check to confirm you're a real person and match your photos. We do not keep the video after verification is complete.

Why: to keep catfish, bots, and scammers out. This is the door to the community.

Payment information

What: your membership status and a payment record. We never see or store your full card number — payments are handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor.

Why: to charge your $3/month or $30/year membership and keep your access active.

Messages & activity

What: the messages you send to other members, your matches, dates you confirm, and reports you file.

Why: to deliver your messages, run the Confirmed Date tool, and let our human moderators act on reports.

Basic technical data

What: device type, browser, and general usage needed to keep the site working and secure.

Why: to fix bugs, prevent abuse, and keep the service running.

Other members

Only what you put on your profile, and only what you choose to share in messages. Your email, legal name, and payment details are never shown to other members.

Our small moderation team

A real human reviews verification and reports. Access is limited to what's needed to keep the community safe.

Service providers who help us run UBeLong

We use a small set of trusted vendors, each bound to protect your data and use it only to provide their service to us:

• Supabase — secure database and authentication (stores your account and profile data).
• Stripe — payment processing (handles your card; we never store it).
• Cloudflare — website hosting and delivery.

These providers do not have permission to use your data for their own marketing or to sell it.

When the law requires it

If we receive a valid legal order, we may have to disclose specific information. If that ever happens, we'll be transparent about it to the extent the law allows.

Access & correction

You can view and edit most of your information right from your profile. Need help? Email us.

Deletion

Email [email protected] and we'll delete your account and personal data. We'll confirm when it's done.

Data portability

Want a copy of your data? Ask, and we'll provide it in a readable format.

Marketing

We don't sell your data, and we don't run third-party ad tracking. Any email we send you is about UBeLong itself, and you can opt out of non-essential emails any time.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and stored with our infrastructure providers using industry-standard protections. Access is limited to those who need it. No system is perfect, but we take this seriously and act fast on any issue.

Retention

We keep your information while your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data — except where we're required to keep limited records (for example, payment/tax records) for a set period by law.

Adults only

UBeLong is strictly for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn someone under 18 has an account, we remove it.
